Just Coolin' is a 1988 R&B song performed by LeVert and Heavy D, from the album Just Coolin'. It was written by Gerald Levert and Marc Gordon, who also produced the track. The song was recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia and released by Atlantic Records. It topped the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart, giving Heavy D his only number-one hit and giving LeVert his fourth number-one on the chart. It also reached number 19 on the dance chart. The official music video was directed by Jane Simpson.
