Borek (Havlíčkův Brod District)
Borek is a small village and municipality in the Havlíčkův Brod District, Vysočina Region, in the Czech Republic. It covers an area of 6.60 square kilometers and lies at about 433 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2025, the population is 123 people.
The village is located about 21 kilometers north of Havlíčkův Brod, 45 kilometers north of Jihlava, and 90 kilometers east of Prague. Borek consists of two parts: Borek and Ostružno. Borek is first mentioned in records from 1557, and Ostružno was first mentioned in 1397.
