Gennaro Scognamiglio, born 24 April 1987 in Gragnano, Campania, is an Italian football official and former centre back. He began in the youth teams of Treviso and Salernitana, then started his senior career with Savoia in 2005. He went on to play for Sangiuseppese, Crotone (with a loan to Cosenza), and Juve Stabia. After a spell with Parma (where he did not appear in league games) he was loaned to Perugia. He later played for Benevento, helping them win the Lega Pro Group C title and earn promotion to Serie B, before moving to Trapani, Pisa, and Novara (where he scored in Serie B). His later clubs included Cesena, Pescara, and Avellino. In 2023 he joined Giugliano, and in 2024 he became the club’s technical director.
