Birmingham Dental Hospital is a dental hospital in Mill Pool Way, Birmingham, West Midlands, England. It is part of the National Health Service (NHS) and is run by the Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

History:
The hospital began in 1858 as the Birmingham Dental Dispensary at Odd Fellows Hall on Temple Street. It moved several times: in 1863 to 2 Upper Priory, in 1871 to 9 Broad Street, in 1880 it became the Birmingham Dental Hospital, then in 1882 to 71 Newhall Street, and in 1905 to 132 Great Charles Street. In 1966 it relocated to St Mary’s Row (later known as St Chad’s Queensway). The old site later fell into disrepair.

New building:
Planning for a new facility on the Pebble Mill Studios site started in 2012 and the project was funded through a private finance initiative. Construction began in 2013, designed by One Create Environments and built by Galliford Try at about £34 million. Queen Elizabeth II officially opened the new Birmingham Dental Hospital in November 2015, with patients being admitted from March 2016.
