Golconda School

The Golconda School is a historic building in Golconda, Nevada, located at the corner of Morrison and Fourth Streets. It was built in 1888 by C.A. LaGrave and designed by architect J.L. Donnel. The school features vernacular Second Empire style. The site is less than an acre in size.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 14, 1991 (reference number 91001651).

The building is important because it shows the town’s economic growth, documents the history of education in Nevada, and is a well-preserved example of a 19th-century wood-frame vernacular school.
