Kew Jaliens
Kew Raffique Jaliens (born 15 September 1978) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a defender. He was born in Rotterdam and is 1.83 meters tall. Over his career he played for Sparta, Willem II, AZ, Wisła Kraków, Newcastle Jets, Melbourne City and Weston Workers Bears, totaling 480 league appearances and 18 goals.

- Sparta (1997-1999): 68 appearances, 4 goals. Made his league debut at age 18 in a win over FC Groningen.
- Willem II (1999-2004): 147 appearances, 4 goals. Debuted in August 1999; scored first goal in February 2001.
- AZ (2004-2011): 166 appearances, 5 goals. Debuted in August 2004; first AZ goal in March 2005. In 2009 he helped AZ win the Eredivisie and the Dutch Super Cup. In 2007 he extended his contract to 2012 and was described as a cornerstone of the team.
- Wisła Kraków (2011-2013): 46 appearances, 1 goal. Won the Ekstraklasa in his first season.
- Newcastle Jets (2013-2015): 36 appearances, 3 goals. Named captain for the 2014-15 season.
- Melbourne City (2015): 11 appearances, 1 goal. Joined soon after leaving Newcastle Jets.
- Weston Workers Bears (2018): 6 appearances, 0 goals.
International career
- Netherlands senior team: 15 caps, 1 goal (2006-2007). Made his debut in 2006 after a call-up from Marco van Basten and played at the 2006 World Cup, including a match against Argentina.
- Netherlands U-21: 11 caps (1998-1999).
- Netherlands Olympic team: 3 appearances (2008) as one of the three over-aged players; played in the group stage but missed the quarterfinal due to a suspension.
