Bingley (ward)

Bingley is a ward in the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It centers on the town of Bingley and also includes the nearby areas of Eldwick, Gilstead, the village of Micklethwaite, and part of Crossflatts, plus a large moorland area above the town. The ward falls in the Shipley parliamentary constituency. As of the 2011 census, 18,294 people lived there (13,675 in 2001). Local councillors are Colin Mathew Gill, David Heseltine, and Robin Ernest Owens, all Conservatives. The ward is in the BD16 postcode district and has the 01274 dialling code.
