Alaungpaya Ayedawbon is a Burmese chronicle about King Alaungpaya of the Konbaung Dynasty. It is also known as Alaung Mintayagyi Ayedawbon. It is one of two biographical chronicles of the king. Both tell his life from his supposed ancestry to his death after a campaign against Siam in 1760, and both include many details of his eight-year reign, though the two versions are not exactly the same.

The first version was published in 1883 as Alaungpaya Ayedawbon. Later editions used either the same title or the alternative name Alaung Mintayagyi Ayedawbon. In 1961, a second version was published together with the first, and both were printed under the name Alaung Mintayagyi Ayedawbon, which caused some confusion.

Scholars agree both chronicles were written by ministers of the king, but they disagree on who wrote which. The two versions were kept in the Royal Library of the last Konbaung kings, Mindon and Thibaw. U Yan, the Royal Librarian, said one version was by Letwe Nawrahta and the other by Twinthin Taikwun Maha Sithu. In 1923, when published with other chronicles, authorship was listed as Twinthin Taikwun Maha Sithu, but later historians Pe Maung Tin and Maung Maung Gyi corrected that to Letwe Nawrahta. More recent scholars are divided: Hla Thamein (editor of the 1961 edition), Yi Yi and Kyauk Taing say the 1883 version was by Twinthin Taikwun, while Thaw Kaung argues it was Letwe Nawrahta.
