Billmeyer Wildlife Management Area

Billmeyer Wildlife Management Area is a 758-acre area in Allegany County, Maryland, beside Green Ridge State Forest. It was established in the 1920s to produce and protect game birds, especially turkeys. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources now manages it for recreation and hunting. The site is classified by the IUCN as a Category V protected landscape.
