Bill Zanker is an American businessman who founded The Learning Annex, a company that teaches adults. He grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and helped start a Jewish history course while in high school. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and studied film at The New School.

In 1980 he started The Learning Annex. He later sold it in 1991 and worked as a consultant. In 1997 he helped merge and buy back New York Learning Annex, and by December 2001 he owned all Learning Annex properties. In 1993 he started The Great American BackRub, a chain of stress-relief stores, which he sold in 1997.

In 2007 Zanker co-wrote a best-selling business book with Donald Trump, Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life. In 2015 he worked on promoting Trump’s campaign book Crippled America. In 2013 he launched FundAnything.com, a crowdfunding platform. Trump was an early financial partner, promising to support new projects weekly and promote them on Twitter, but the partnership ended in 2014. The platform also helped Adam Carolla raise $1 million in 30 days for the film Road Hard.
