Bill Landels, born 24 July 1938 in Edinburgh, is a former Scottish speedway rider. He was a strong grasstrack competitor, winning Scottish titles in 1958 and 1959. He began his British league career with the Edinburgh Monarchs in 1960. He missed 1961 and 1962 due to army postings abroad, returning to race regularly in late 1963. He stayed with Edinburgh as the British League started in 1965, and in 1966 he won the Scottish Open in a surprise victory over top riders like Ivan Mauger. Landels earned 3 caps for Scotland and 1 for England (in December 1967 during the winter test series in Australia). After emigrating to Australia, he went on to earn 8 caps for Australia, a rare case of riding for a third national team.
