Big Pot (Italian: Il colpaccio) is a 1976 crime film co-produced by Italy and Austria. It was directed and co-written by Bruno Paolinelli, who used the pseudonym John L. Huxley. The film stars Al Cliver and Carole André. It was produced by Saba Cinematografica, C.A.R.F., and Neue Delta Film. Filming took place in Amsterdam, Rome, London, and Lake Como. The movie opened in Italian cinemas on June 16, 1976, distributed by Dear International. It was not a box office success, earning about 116 million lire in Italy. Critics said it was a lighter heist film, more like 1960s capers, with some action and light comedy. Leonardo Autera of Corriere della Sera noted that the suspense was drawn out and the plot lacked logic, which hurt the believability of the characters.
