Bex Rayner
Bex Rayner (Rebecca Rayner) is an English footballer born on 7 November 1999 in Cleckheaton. She is a midfielder who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women's Super League, wearing number 17.
Rayner began playing football with Bradford Park Avenue at age 4 to be with her brother, then joined Leeds United at age 8 and stayed until 16. She started her professional career with Doncaster Belles in 2016, helping them win the FA WSL 2 title in 2018. She then moved to Sheffield United (2018–2019), joined Nottingham Forest (2019–2020), and returned to Sheffield United (2020–2024). In July 2024 she joined Brighton & Hove Albion.
Internationally, she has represented England at youth level—U19 (6 caps, 1 goal) in 2018 and U21 (4 caps) in 2019. In January 2026, she signed a new contract with Brighton.
