Ben Barkema
Ben Barkema (born October 6, 1984) is an American former football tight end and current football coach. He was born in Muscatine, Iowa. Barkema played college football at Iowa State from 2004 to 2007. He then joined the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and spent time with the team as an offseason member. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Iowa State from 2009 to 2011. In 2012 he coached the defensive line at Upper Iowa. Since 2013, he has been an assistant coach at Missouri State in the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC).
