Estadio Las Higueras
Estadio Las Higueras was a football stadium in Talcahuano, Chile. It served as the home ground of the Huachipato club from 1960 until 2008. The stadium closed after its last match on July 19, 2008 and was demolished later that year. A new stadium, Estadio Huachipato-CAP Acero, was built on the site and opened in 2009. The venue could seat about 10,000 people, with a grass field measuring 110 by 70 meters. It was built in 1960 and opened on November 25, 1961, and was owned by Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato.
