Bat-El Gatterer (born February 4, 1988) is an Israeli taekwondo athlete who competes in the featherweight division. She comes from Kokhav Ya’akov in the West Bank and trains with the Ahi Yehuda club in Jerusalem, as well as at the Wingate Institute. She started fighting at age nine and began taekwondo at twelve. She served in the Israel Defense Forces and is a religious Jew.

Her career highlights include winning the European featherweight title at the 2010 European Taekwondo Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2010 she also won gold at the Dutch Open, bronze at the Belgian Open, and silver at the Paris Open, and she reached a world ranking as high as No. 3. Gatterer competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, finishing tied for 11th after a close match with Martina Zubčić. She is one of three Israeli taekwondo Olympians, along with Maya Arusi and Ron Atias. She has continued to win medals at various international Opens in the following years.
