Basavaraj Bommai ministry was the Karnataka government from 28 July 2021 to 13 May 2023. It was led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The cabinet had 30 ministers, all from BJP, giving the government a clear majority in the legislature. The governor, Thawar Chand Gehlot, was the head of state. The main opposition was the Indian National Congress (INC), with Siddaramaiah as the Assembly leader and B. K. Hariprasad as the Council leader. This ministry followed the Fourth Yediyurappa ministry and was followed by the Second Siddaramaiah ministry. The term lasted about 1 year and 289 days.
