Bandar railway station

Bandar railway station is a small on-ground station on the Panskura–Haldia branch line of the South Eastern Railway zone in Indian Railways. It serves the Haldia Port area and is located at Ranichak More, Haldia, in Purba Medinipur district, West Bengal. The station code is BAAR. It has one platform and one track, and there is no parking facility. Bandar was opened in 1968 as part of the line built to serve the new port at Haldia, and the line was electrified between 1974 and 1976. It is under the Kharagpur Division of the South Eastern Railway and remains a functioning station on the Haldia line.
