USCGC Cahoone (WSC-131) was an Active-class patrol boat of the United States Coast Guard. Built by American Brown Boveri Electric Corp. in Camden, New Jersey, she was launched January 27, 1927, commissioned February 21, 1927, and served until March 11, 1968, when she was decommissioned; she was sold December 12, 1968.

The Active-class ships were small but rugged vessels designed to patrol along the outer edge of operations during Prohibition, with each boat costing about $63,173. In the late 1930s many were re-engined for more speed. Cahoone carried a crew of 3 officers and 17 men in 1960. Her assignments included Stapleton, New York; Curtis Bay, Maryland; Morehead City, North Carolina; San Pedro, California; Mount Edgecumbe, Alaska (1946–1954); and Galveston, Texas (until 1968). Notably, she helped rescue survivors from the Morro Castle fire off New Jersey in 1934.

During World War II, the class served widely; two ships, Jackson and Bedloe, were lost in a 1944 storm, and ten were refitted as buoy tenders before returning to patrol duties. The Active-class proved durable and long-lasting, with ships remaining in service into the 1960s and early 1970s.
