Bama Department
Bama is a department (also called a commune) in Houet Province, in south-west Burkina Faso. The capital is the town of Bama. The department covers about 505 square miles (1,308 square kilometers). In 2019 it had about 85,834 residents, with a population density of roughly 170 people per square mile (about 66 per square kilometer). The time zone is UTC+0 (GMT).
