Balesfeld is a small municipality in western Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It lies in the Bitburg-Prüm district and is part of the Bitburger Land municipal association. The village is in the Waldeifel region and sits about 485 meters above sea level. It covers 2.35 square kilometers. As of December 31, 2023, about 217 people live there, giving a population density of around 92 residents per square kilometer. The mayor for 2019–2024 is Ernst Nober.
