En Tiempo Real
En Tiempo Real is a live album by Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco, released on December 10, 2010 by 11 y 6 Discos. It was recorded on October 22, 2010 during a special concert for his fans and was Gian Marco’s second live album, as well as his first released on DVD. The performance was recorded in high definition and blends Latin pop, rock, and ballads in Spanish and Quechua.
The show was praised for its acoustic, uninterrupted sound and for Gian Marco’s demonstration of his skills with the Peruvian charango. The album quickly earned gold status in Peru, selling about 5,680 copies by early 2011, and two weeks later reached platinum with 10,000 copies sold. To promote the release, Gian Marco launched the En Tiempo Real Tour, touring Latin America and the United States, with stops in Miami, New Jersey, Houston, and Seattle.
