Badhalu
Badhalu is a Maldivian anthology web series directed by Naaisha Nashid. It has one season with five short episodes, each about 10–20 minutes long. The series was released on Baiskoafu from April 5, 2023, to November 12, 2024.
The stories explore relationships and family dynamics:
- Friends: two best friends face heartbreak after a betrayal.
- The Usual: two childhood friends become a couple but decide to part for each other’s well‑being.
- Reena’s Situation: a woman discovers her fiancé’s affair.
- Memories: an adopted child cares for a mother who has amnesia.
- A breakup tale: two people navigate the challenges of a breakup.
Badhalu stars actors including Washiya Mohamed, Aisha Ali, Ahmed Sharif, Maiha Adam, and Maleeha Waheed. The series has received positive reviews for its sharp premises and strong acting.
