Babae... Sa Likod ng Salamin
Babae... Sa Likod ng Salamin (Lady... behind the mirror) is a 1976 Filipino drama film directed by Cesar J. Amigo, with a script by Amigo and producer Reuben R. Canoy. It stars Charito Solis, Dindo Fernando, Alona Alegre, and Perla Bautista. The story follows a woman who has two personas: Laura, a faithful wife by day, and Lorna, a mistress by night. The film was released on June 23, 1976, and was one of the last projects written or directed by Amigo. Critic Justino Dormiendo gave it a negative review, saying it felt like a standard sex drama despite the talented cast and experienced writers. The theme song, "Babae....Sa Likod ng Salamin," was written by Willy Cruz and Rolando Tinio and performed by Celeste Legaspi. Reuben Canoy, a writer and former mayor of Cagayan de Oro, was a supporter of the Marcos administration until 1976 when he defected to the opposition.
