Aymamón Limestone
The Aymamón Limestone is a geologic formation in Puerto Rico, in the Caribbean. It dates from the Middle to Late Miocene, roughly 16 to 5 million years ago. The primary rock is limestone, with some chalk. The formation preserves fossils from that time, and various fossils have been found there.
