Atie Voorbij was a Dutch swimmer who specialized in the 100 meter butterfly. She was born on 20 September 1940 in Hilversum, Netherlands, and swam for the De Robben club in Hilversum. Coached by Jan Stender and Wil van Breukelen, she became the Dutch national champion in the 100 m butterfly five times between 1955 and 1960 and set nine world records in the 100 m butterfly and the 4×100 m medley events.

Her big success came at the 1958 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest, where she won gold in the 4×100 m medley relay (with Ada den Haan, Cocky Gastelaars, and Lenie de Nijs) and silver in the 100 m butterfly.

Voorbij also competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth in the 100 m butterfly.

She passed away on 3 March 2024, at the age of 83.
