Arthur B. Ingram

Arthur B. Ingram (also spelled Inghram or Ingraham) was a farmer and early American politician from Tyler County, Virginia. He served five one-year terms in the Virginia House of Delegates representing Tyler County: 1815–1816, 1816–1817, 1826–1827, 1827–1828, and 1828–1829. His sister Sarah was the mother of Arthur Ingram Boreman, who would become the first governor of West Virginia, making Boreman his nephew.

He later moved to Illinois and then to the Wisconsin Territory. In Wisconsin, he served in the 1st Wisconsin Territorial Assembly (1836–1838) as a member of the Territorial Council for the southern part of the area that would later become the Iowa Territory. He was elected President of the Council for the 2nd session in 1837 and for a special session in 1838. The Iowa Territory was created on July 4, 1838.

His daughter Margaret Fee Ingraham married W. W. Chapman. He was the uncle of Arthur Ingram Boreman.
