Archduke Albrecht Franz, Duke of Teschen
Archduke Albrecht Franz, Duke of Teschen (1897–1955) was a member of the Habsburg-Lorraine royal family and the titular pretender to the Duchy of Teschen. He was born in Vienna, Austria-Hungary, the youngest son of Archduke Friedrich, Duke of Teschen, and Princess Isabella of Croÿ. He grew up with eight sisters and no brothers.

- Son of Archduke Friedrich and Princess Isabella of Croÿ.
- The youngest child in a large royal family.
Marriages and children
1) Irene Dora Lelbach (morganatic marriage) in 1930 in Brighton, England. They divorced in 1937 and had no children.
2) Katalin Bocskay de Felsö-Bánya (morganatic marriage) in 1938. They had two daughters:
- Charlotte Izabella Mária Krisztine Eszter Katalin Pia, Countess von Habsburg (1940–2020)
- Ildiko Katalin Izabella Henriette Alice Maria, Countess von Habsburg (born 1942)
They divorced in 1951. The daughters did not inherit the archducal title, but Otto von Habsburg later granted them the title Countess von Habsburg.
3) Lydia Strauss-Dorner (third marriage). They had a son:
- Rudolf Stefan von Habsburg (1951–1992)
Ancestry and title
- Archduke Albrecht Franz was part of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.
- He was the titular Duke of Teschen, a historic title from his family’s possessions in the Duchy of Teschen.
- Not to be confused with his great-uncle Archduke Albrecht, Duke of Teschen.
Death
- Died on 23 July 1955 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the age of 57.
Overall, Albrecht Franz lived much of his life outside of the ruling powers, married three times (all morganatic except the last), and had three children, two daughters who carried noble titles and a son who continued the Habsburg line in a limited, non-dynastic capacity.
