Anne-Mette Sørensen
Anne-Mette Sørensen (born 7 July 1947) is a former Danish tennis player from Funen. She won three outdoor and five indoor Danish national singles titles. In 1975 she was named Funen’s sportsperson of the year. She played for Denmark in the Federation Cup from 1972 to 1982, taking part in 31 matches. In 1976 she helped Denmark beat Spain and Uruguay to reach the quarter-finals for the first time. She won her quarter-final singles match against Tine Zwaan of the Netherlands, but Denmark lost the tie 2–1.
