Vector Pipeline L.P. is a 348-mile natural gas line that carries about 1 billion cubic feet per day from Joliet, Illinois, through parts of Indiana and Michigan to Ontario, Canada. It helps move gas from the United States and Western Canada to the Midwest, eastern Canada, and the northeastern United States, supplying power plants, gas distribution companies, and storage facilities. The pipeline interconnects with several other pipelines along its route.

Vector Pipeline is a joint venture between Enbridge Inc. and DTE Energy Company. It filed with the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Canada's National Energy Board in 1997, and construction occurred in 2000, with operations starting on December 1, 2000. Its FERC code is 175.

Duke Energy held a 30% stake beginning in 2002 after acquiring Westcoast Energy, and it sold that interest in September 2003 to DTE and Enbridge, who already owned the other 70%, for $145 million. Enbridge provides operating services and owns 60% of Vector Pipeline.
