Andrei Finonchenko
Andrei Finonchenko (born 21 June 1982) is a Kazakh football coach and former striker who spent his entire playing career with Shakhter Karagandy. He was born in Karagandy and began as a left-back before becoming a forward. He played for the Kazakhstan national team from 2003 to 2014, earning 20 caps and scoring 5 goals; his international debut came on 6 June 2003 against Poland, and his first goal was against Cyprus on 19 February 2004.
After retiring as a player, he joined Shakhter Karagandy as assistant manager on 3 February 2017. He has served as caretaker manager in 2017 and 2018, and was Sporting Director from 2019 to 2020. He also acted as caretaker in 2021 and worked as an assistant from 2021 to 2024. In 2024 he became the manager of Shakhter Karagandy.
