Pantón is a small municipality in Galicia, Spain. It is in the province of Lugo, in the Terra de Lemos area, and belongs to the autonomous community of Galicia. The landscape is mountainous and is watered by the Miño, Cabe, and Sil rivers. As of 2025, about 2,350 people live there. The local economy relies on livestock farming and crops such as wheat, wine, oats, and potatoes, plus distilling and linen manufacturing. The nearest railway station is about 6 miles east, in Monforte de Lemos. The mayor is José Luis Álvarez Blanco (PPdeG). Pantón is in the CET time zone (UTC+1) and observes CEST in summer.
