Mike Malinin
Mike Malinin (born Michael Theodore Malinin on October 10, 1967) is an American drummer best known for his work with the Goo Goo Dolls. He played with the Goo Goo Dolls from December 1994 to December 27, 2013. Born in Washington, D.C., he began playing drums in middle school and studied music at the University of North Texas, where he played in the band Caulk and helped record their first EP before leaving. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time. From July 2016 to February 2023, he played drums for Tanya Tucker, and he now drums for The FBR, a Nashville-based band.
