Alun Lewis (rugby union)

Alun Lewis (born 15 January 1956) is a Welsh former rugby union player. He played as a scrum-half and studied at Cambridge University, turning out for Cambridge University RFC in the Varsity Matches of 1975 and 1976. He also played club rugby for Bedford in 1974–75 before joining London Welsh. Lewis was selected for the 1977 British Lions tour to New Zealand as a replacement, but he never played for Wales. He is the last uncapped player to have appeared for the Lions.
