Algonquin College - Kuwait
Algonquin College Kuwait is a private college in Kuwait that focuses on information technology, business and entrepreneurship. It is a branch of Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. Authorized by an Emiri Decree in 2010, land was allocated in Al-Naseem, Jahra, and construction plans were approved in 2012. The senior management was hired in 2014, and the campus opened in fall 2015. The campus has three interconnected buildings, outdoor sports facilities and covered parking.
It offers a two-year diploma in business or IT, with pathways to a four-year degree for eligible students. Graduates receive diplomas from both the Ottawa campus and the Kuwaiti campus. Leadership includes Chairman Saud Jafar and President David McHardy. Location is Al-Naseem, Jahra, Kuwait (urban campus) with colors green and white.
