Alan Redway (March 11, 1935 – January 4, 2024) was a Canadian lawyer and politician. He was mayor of East York from 1977 to 1982. He then entered federal politics and was elected as a Progressive Conservative MP for York East in 1984. After riding changes, he served as MP for Don Valley East from 1988 to 1993. He was a cabinet minister from 1989 to 1991, as Minister of State for Housing, with responsibility for housing programs including the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. He resigned from the cabinet in 1991 after joking that a friend had a gun on a plane, which violated the Aeronautics Act. He lost his seat in the 1993 federal election when the Progressive Conservatives were reduced to two seats.

After politics, Redway worked on anti-poverty efforts, serving on the Daily Bread Food Bank board from 1996 to 2004. In 2000, he co-chaired a campaign called "Putting Housing Back on the Public Agenda" and urged the Ontario government to stop selling public housing and to invest more in supportive housing. He practiced civil law in Toronto with Redway & Butler LLP (formerly Frost & Redway LLP) and retired in 2010. He died on January 4, 2024, at the age of 88. He lived in Toronto and was known for supporting public housing investment.
