African Boxing Union
The African Boxing Union (ABU) is a not-for-profit regional boxing body for Africa. It sanctions and awards regional boxing titles across the continent. Founded in 1973, it has about 56 member associations. Official languages are English and French. It is affiliated with the World Boxing Council (WBC) since 1974. The president is Houcine Houichi.
