Adela Šajn
Adela Šajn, born 14 April 1990 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a former artistic gymnast who represented Slovenia. She competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics on the balance beam and the floor, but did not advance to any finals.
Šajn won medals in many FIG World Cup and World Challenge Cup events. Highlights include silver on both the balance beam and floor at the 2006 Maribor World Cup; bronze on floor at the 2009 Cottbus World Cup; silvers on beam and floor at the Moscow World Cup; bronze on floor at the Doha World Cup; silver on floor and beam at the 2011 Maribor World Challenge Cup; silver on beam at the 2016 Ljubljana World Challenge Cup. She also had strong results at Universiade and other team events: 17th in the all-around at the 2011 Universiade, 6th on beam at the 2017 Universiade, team 6th at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, and 17th with Slovenia at the 2018 European Championships. She won bronze on floor at the 2019 Koper World Challenge Cup and finished 5th on floor at the 2019 European Games. She attempted to qualify for the Olympics again at the 2012 Olympic Test Event but did not earn a berth.
