Acrilla fourtaui
Acrilla fourtaui is an extinct species of sea snail in the wentletrap family (Epitoniidae). It lived during the Eocene period, and fossils have been found in Egypt. A syntype shell is kept at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris (MNHN). Taxonomy: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Mollusca; Class Gastropoda; Subclass Caenogastropoda; Superfamily Epitonioidea; Family Epitoniidae; Genus Acrilla; Species fourtaui. The binomial name is Acrilla fourtaui, described by Cossmann in 1901.
