Abba Gorion of Sidon

Abba Gorion of Sidon was a tanna, a Rabbinic sage, who lived in the second century CE. He transmitted teachings from Abba Saul (as found in the Mishnah) and from Rabban Gamaliel II. A saying of Gamaliel is used in a Midrash on the Book of Esther, which is sometimes called Midrash Abba Gorion.
