Escape Plan: The Extractors is a 2019 American prison-action thriller and the third and final film in the Escape Plan series. It was directed and co-written by John Herzfeld and stars Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista, Jaime King, Max Zhang, Malese Jow, Harry Shum Jr., and Devon Sawa.

Plot in simple terms
Daya Zhang is kidnapped while visiting factory locations in Ohio. A security expert, Ray Breslin, learns that her kidnapper is tied to her father’s company, which has built covert prisons around the world. Breslin and his team—Abigail, Hush, and Jules—join with a fellow security man, Shen, and Yung to track down Daya and another captive, Abigail. The trail leads to a prison complex in Latvia called “Devil’s Station,” run by a ruthless mastermind, Lester Clark Jr., who is Breslin’s former partner’s son and is seeking revenge.

In the prison, there are brutal battles, traps, and twists. Breslin fights his way through as more allies fall, and Lester’s schemes unfold. Abigail is killed, and Breslin ultimately defeats Lester. He returns to Mansfield with Daya, who learns the truth about her father’s business. Breslin considers retirement, while his team contends with the losses and scars of the mission. Yung survives but is badly wounded.

Production and release
The project was announced in 2017 after the second film, with casting aimed at MMA-style fighters for action scenes. Filming took place September 18–October 13, 2017. The movie was originally titled Escape Plan 3: Devil’s Station, but was renamed Escape Plan: The Extractors by 2018. The “Devil’s Station” prison scenes were filmed at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. The budget was about $3.6 million.
