A Song of Flight
A Song of Flight is a short song by English composer Edward Elgar. He wrote it in 1895 as Op. 31, No. 2, with words from a Christina Rossetti poem. The first performance was by Irish baritone Harry Plunket Greene at St. James's Hall on 2 March 1900, together with Elgar's song After, Op. 31, No. 1.
