A Few Hours of Spring
A Few Hours of Spring (French: Quelques heures de printemps) is a 2012 French drama directed by Stéphane Brizé. The story follows a man who, after being released from prison, returns to his mother, who is terminally ill and has decided when she will die. The film stars Vincent Lindon, Hélène Vincent, and Emmanuelle Seigner. It runs 108 minutes and is in French. It was produced by TS Productions and distributed in France by Diaphana Films. The budget was about $3.5 million and it earned around $1.9 million. The music is by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, with cinematography by Antoine Héberlé and editing by Anne Klotz. It premiered on 19 September 2012 and was shown at several film festivals around the world, such as Locarno and Toronto.
