544 Oenoke Ridge, known as Orchard’s End Estate, is a Tudor Revival mansion in New Canaan, Connecticut. Built in 1929 for the Rockefeller family’s chief counsel and designed by architect William B. Tubby, it is the largest home in the town. The 25,000-square-foot interior sits on 6.5 acres and features English Revival details, hand-carved woodwork, Jacobean plaster, leaded glass, and a copper-topped octagonal turret.

The estate’s grand spaces include a foyer with a bronze chandelier, a four-story cantilevered stone spiral staircase, and a great hall with 35-foot beamed ceilings, a large carved fireplace, and an antique 1840 Steinway piano. The dining room showcases Zuber wallpaper. There are 15 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms, a 15-seat movie theater, a wine cellar, two gyms, formal gardens, a pool, a spa in the carriage house, and a four-bedroom guest house. The property also features a 12-foot water wall and 12 hand-carved marble fireplaces.

Architects Dinyar Wadia led a $14.5 million expansion and renovation in 1999 and again in 2014. The estate has hosted notable residents and guests, including Mariah Carey and billionaire Carlos Hank, and current owner Daniel Rotman. It has hosted charity events and security measures reflect its private nature, including during a Biden fundraiser in 2020. Across the street is Philip Johnson’s Glass House.
