2023–24 Copa del Rey
The 2023–24 Copa del Rey was the 122nd edition of Spain’s annual knockout football cup. It ran from 11 October 2023 to 6 April 2024, with 125 teams taking part and 126 matches played, scoring 362 goals in total.
Athletic Bilbao won the title, beating Mallorca in the final held at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville on 6 April 2024. After a 1–1 draw, Athletic Bilbao won 4–2 on penalties to lift their 25th Copa del Rey trophy, and their first since 1984. Mallorca were the runners-up.
Real Madrid were the defending champions but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Atlético Madrid.
The cup winner earned a place in the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League group stage, and both the winners and runners-up qualified for the 2025 Supercopa de España.
Top scorers of the competition were Abdón, Anastasios Douvikas, and Asier Villalibre, each with six goals.
