2022 was the 19th year of RISE, a Japanese kickboxing promotion. The year featured 21 events, all streamed on Abema TV, running from January to December.

The year kicked off with RISE 154 on January 23 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The main event was a bantamweight title bout: champion Masahiko Suzuki vs. challenger Kengo. In February, RISE hosted EVOL.10 & RISE GIRLS POWER.6 (February 12, Shinjuku Face) and RISE FIGHT CLUB (February 16, Shinjuku Face), the latter introducing a new open-finger gloves format. February 23 brought RISE 155 at Korakuen Hall, headlined by Kazuma vs. Tepparith JoeGym.

March saw RISE 156 at Korakuen Hall with a vacant featherweight title bout between Taisei Umei and Ryoga Hirano as the main event. April featured RISE ELDORADO 2022 (April 2, Yoyogi National Gymnasium) and RISE 157 (April 24, Korakuen Hall). May hosted RISE 158 (May 29, Korakuen Hall).

June showcased a landmark collaboration: THE MATCH 2022 on June 19 at the Tokyo Dome, a partnership between K-1 and RISE with the Rizin Fighting Federation, headlined by Tenshin Nasukawa (RISE) vs. Takeru Segawa (K-1) in a non-title crossover fight. RISE returned on June 24 with RISE 159 at Korakuen Hall.

July 29 saw RISE 160 at Korakuen Hall. On August 21, RISE WORLD SERIES OSAKA 2022 took place at EDION Arena Osaka, headlined by Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 vs. Kento Haraguchi for the inaugural RISE Super Lightweight (-65 kg) World title. August 28 brought RISE 161 back to Korakuen Hall.

October 15 featured RISE WORLD SERIES 2022 at Ota City General Gymnasium, headlined by Kazuki Osaki vs. Kazane. December included RISE 162 and RISE 163 on December 10 at Korakuen Hall (with Kan Nakamura vs. Sumiya Ito as a main event in one of the shows). The year closed on December 25 with Glory Rivals 4, a joint event with Glory and Shoot Boxing at Ryōgoku Kokugikan, headlined by Kento Haraguchi vs. Serhiy Adamchuk.
