Promotions to the Premier League
- Three teams were promoted: Al Nasr Lel Taa'en, El Sharkia, and Tanta.
- Promotion play-offs took place on 16 and 21 April 2016.
- Al Nasr Lel Taa'en won their tie on penalties after a 2–2 aggregate.
