2014 EMF miniEURO
The 2014 EMF miniEURO was the fifth edition of the tournament for national small-sided football teams. It took place in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, from 26 to 30 November 2014, with 24 teams competing. All matches were played at a single venue, the Sport Center Igalo in Igalo.
Defending champions Romania retained the title, defeating Slovenia 1–0 in the final. The final draw occurred on 15 October 2014 at the Igalo Spa Hotel.
Format and progress
- Group stage: Six groups of four teams (36 matches) were played from 26 to 28 November. The top two teams in each group, plus the four best third-placed teams, advanced to the knockout rounds.
- Knockout stage: The round of 16 and quarter-finals were held on 29 November; the semi-finals, the third-place play-off, and the final took place on 30 November.
- If teams were tied on points after the group stage, tiebreakers determined advancement; if a knockout match was level after 40 minutes, a penalty shoot-out decided the winner.
