2012 Danish speedway season
2012 Danish speedway season: Niels Kristian Iversen won his first Danish title. The Danish Individual Speedway Championship final was held over two rounds at Holsted and Outrup. The season began with two semi-finals, with five riders from each semi advancing to the final series. The final series also ran over two rounds, and the four best scorers from these rounds moved to a Grand Final. The Grand Final scores were added to the overall total to decide the champion. Iversen won the Grand Final race-off to take the title ahead of Pedersen. Madsen defeated Korneliussen in their race-off for third place. Michael Jepsen Jensen won the Danish Under-21 Championship at Vojens on 11 August. In the Danish Speedway League, Esbjerg Vikings won the title for the ninth time. The league introduced a Super Final to decide the champion, and Vojens Speedway Klub resigned from the league due to financial problems. The teams in the Super Final were Esbjerg, Fjelsted, Holsted, Holstebro, Slangerup, Grindsted and Outrup.
