2012 Championship League
The 2012 Championship League was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament held from January 9 to March 22, 2012 at Crondon Park Golf Club in Stock, England. It was organized by Matchroom Sport. The event had a total prize fund of £192,700, with the winner receiving £10,000 plus bonuses. The highest break was 144, achieved by Mark Allen.
Defending champion Matthew Stevens was eliminated in group four. The competition used seven groups to decide who reached the final stage. The players who qualified for the final group were Judd Trump, Shaun Murphy, Neil Robertson, Mark Davis, Barry Hawkins, Mark Allen, and Ding Junhui—the last to qualify for the final group.
The final was played on March 22, 2012, with Ding Junhui defeating Judd Trump 3–1 to win the Championship League and earn a place in the 2012 Premier League Snooker.
